is a versatile Korean-American pianist whose artistic breadth spans roles as a soloist, chamber musician, concert tenor, and concerto performer. He has appeared at distinguished venues including Orchestra Hall (MN), Carnegie Hall\u2019s Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall (NY), Duncan Hall, Hinton Hall, Antonello Hall, the Dinu Lipatti Recital Hall (Romania), Luis A. Calvo Hall (Colombia), and the KEPCO Art Center (South Korea), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His achievements include top prizes at the Venusto Music Competition (sponsored by the Mayor of Seoul), The American Prize, the Paderewski International Piano Competition (Connecticut Chopin Foundation), the Carles and Sofia International Piano Competition, the Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition, the Calabria International Piano Competition, the Orbetello International Piano Competition, and the Concorso Citt\u00e0 di Massa in Italy. He has also received honors at the Miedzynarodowy Konkurs Muzyczny Ma\u0142opolska (Poland), the Charleston International Piano Competition, the Music International Grand Prix (NY), and the Forte International Music Competition (NY), where he was awarded the Grand Prize. Additionally, he won the Concerto Competition at the University of Minnesota\u2013Twin Cities and the Seoul National Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. His vocal accolades include winning the Concerto & Aria Competition with the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a concerto soloist, Min has appeared with ensembles including the Seoul National Symphony Orchestra, the Middle Tennessee State University Wind Ensemble, and the University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra, performing under conductors Ik-Sung Joo and Maestro Mark Russell Smith. He has also performed as a tenor soloist with the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra and the Linden Hills Chamber Orchestra, presenting iconic arias such as E lucevan le stelle (Puccini) and Vesti la giubba (Leoncavallo). Min is highly engaged in contemporary music. His projects include recordings of A Richer Dust (speaker & wind orchestra) by British composer Dr. Nigel Clarke, with text by Malene Sheppard Skaerved (UK). He has recorded and performed wind symphonic works by the late American composer Dr. David Maslanka and currently serves as music director for Dr. Yan Pang\u2019s contemporary stage works One-log Bridge and Shelter.
